A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY .COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING THE BARRE-VILLA PARK
LICENSE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, A COR~
PORATLON AND AUTHORIZING THE-CITY CLERK TO
FTLE A COPY OF THIS TERMINATION WITH SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON .COMPANY.
WHEREAS,- on the 27th day of May, 196$, the City entered
into an Agreement with Southern California Edison Company, for a
license for public park purpose on certain real property described
in said license and more commonly known as Poincianna Park, and
park; and
WHEREAS, said property has never been developed into a
WHEREAS, pursuant to Paragraph 11 of said Agreement
either party may terminate the license by giving one year`s
written notcea and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to terminate-said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED pursuant t o Paragraph 11
of that certain License Agreement, entered into on the Z~th day
of May, 1968 by and between the City and Southern California
Edison Company, a corporation, the City of Anaheim does hereby
terminate said License Agreement. The City Clerk is authorized
and. directed to forraard a .certified copy of this resolution to
the Southern California Edison .Company.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of :Tune, 1981.
