A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FO:R ROAD AND PUBLIC

WHEREAS, the

to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of EDWARD I. VANAGS AND MARIS E.
VANAGS to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of Ca]_ifornia, to be used for an easement _f_or road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the southerly 172 feet
of the northerly 322 feet of the westerly 190 feet of
Lot 6 of South Placentia Tract No. 2, as per map thereof
recorded in Book 5, page 42, Miscellaneous P4aps, records
of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of State College
Boulevard (formerly known as Placentia Avenue) and Via
Burton Street; thence N $9° 56' 44" E, 190.00 feet along
the centerline of said Via Burton Street to an intersec-
tion with the east line of the west 190.00 feet to said
Lot 6; thence N 00° 15' 00" W, 30.00 feet along said east
line to an intersection with a line parallel with and
30.00 feet northerly of the centerline of said Via Burton
Street, said point of intersection being a point in a
curve concave northeasterly and having a radius of 70.00
feet, a radial line bearing S 00° 03' 16" E passes
through said point; thence Northwesterly along said
curve through a central angle o.f 26° 52' 36" an arc dis-
tance of 32.84 feet to a point in said curve, a radial
line bearing S 26° 49' 20" E passes through said point;
thence N 63° 10' 40" W, 103.05 feet to the beginning of
a non tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northwesterly and Northerly
along said curve through a central angle of 62° 55' 40"
an arc distance of 27.46 feet to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 53.00 feet easterly of the center-
line of said State College Boulevard; thence S 89° 45'
00" W, 53.00 feet to the centerline of said State College
Boulevard; thence S 00° 15' 00" E, 106.18 feet to the
point of beginning,

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed
to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City o.f Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. O1-792-7015-E2690
the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of June, 1981.
