A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL O:F' THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES. (R~W #2890)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to t'ne City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the C_i_ty of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of the CORPORATION OF THE PRESIDING
BISHOP OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS to sell
to the City of Anaheim the .following described real property situ-
ated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
A public utility easement for the installation of_ over-
head pole lines, together with necessary electric wires,
cross arms and related facilities and/or underground
conduits and cables and related facilities over, under
and across a strip of land 8 feet wide lying within
that portion of land in the Northeast quarter of Section
6, Township 4 South, Range 8 West, S.B.B. & M. The
centerline of said 8-foot strip of land, as described
as follows:
Beginning at a point distant S 23° 14' 07" E, 225.00
feet from the centerline intersection of Old Bridge Road
and Stone Creek Lane, as shown on a map of Tract No.
8560 recorded in Book 412, page 34, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, the said point of
beginning hereinafter being referred to as Point "A";
thence from said Point "A" N 66° 45' 53" W, 263.00 feet;
thence from said Point "A" S 66° 45' 53" E, 93.76 feet
~~ to the beginning of a curve concave southwesterly and
having a radius of 1,200 feet; thence Southeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of_ 18° 53' 31"
an arc distance of 395.67 feet; thence S 47° 52' 22"
E, 70.00 feet to the point of terminus o.f the centerline
herein described,

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed
to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owner o.f said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 55-668-6685-
0425036400 the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of June, 1981.
