-°~~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPOINTING ARTHUR L. DAW AS
ACTING CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the laws of the State"of California require
all .engineering functions in connection with Public Works
properties or projects to be done and performed_by the City
Engineer of the City of Anaheim, or such other registered
engineer as may be authorized; and
WHEREAS, during periods of absence or disability of
the City Engineer, there presently exists no provision for any
other registered engineer of the City of Anaheim to perform the
duties of the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint a member of the
City engineering staff to perform the duties of the City
Engineer during illness or absence from the City; and
WHEREAS, Arthur L. Daw is a registered engineer and
is qualified to perform the duties of the City Engineer during
his absence or illness from his duties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Arthur L. Daw is hereby appointed the
acting City Engineer of the City of .Anaheim during the absence
or illness of the regularly appointed City Engineer of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of
July, 1951.
