A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR A JUVENILE "DROP-
IN" CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange (hereinafter "County")
maintains a Juvenile Probation Program for juvenile offenders
in the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, the County is in need of a "drop-in" center
in order to be able to supervise the juveniles who live in the
City of Anaheim (hereinafter "City") who fall under the
jurisdiction of the County of Orange Probation Department; and
WHEREAS, City has a recreation building at Twila
Reid Park where space is available to render this service to
the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to
enter into an Agreement with County to provide facilities for
a "drop-in" juveniles' probation center in the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are acceptable to the City Council of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the teams and
conditions of said Agreement are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement on behalf of the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of July, 1981
