92-247 RESOLUTION NO. 92R- 247
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO APPLY
FOR PROPOSITION 116 BICYCLE GRANT
FUNDING FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority has
funding available for commuter bicycle purposes pursuant to
Proposition 116; and
WHEREAS, the Authority is willing to consider
applications for funding of commuter bicycle facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Authority requires applications for
funding to be accompanied by certain certifications as outlined
in the policies of the Authority.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1.) The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized
to make applications to the Orange County
Transportation Authority for funding of commuter
bicycle facilities.
2.) The Director of Public Works is further authorized
to certify compliance, by the City of Anaheim,
with the screening criteria for grant applications
established by the Authority.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 15th day of December,
1992.
