A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE
OWNED PROPERTY AND AUTHOi
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
(Sheila M. Peterson)
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
SALE OF CERTAIN CITY-
~IZING AND DIRECTING
TO EXECUTE SAID DEED
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain
real property located at the rear of 537 West Chestnut Street
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said property is not needed by the City
of Anaheim except for a public utility easement with reason-
able rights of ingress and egress over, under, along and
across the northerly 7 feet thereof; and
WHEREAS, said land consists on an unbuildable parcel
14 feet by 47 feet in length; and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase the property has been
received from Sheila M. Peterson; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to sell said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sale of
said real property consisting of a 14 feet by 47 feet strip of
property located at the rear of 537 West Chestnut Street
subject to a public utility easement with reasonable rights of
ingress and egress over, under, along and across the northerly
7 feet thereof to Sheila M. Peterson, an unmarried woman, and
the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a
deed to said property on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of August, 1'981.
