A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE CONCEPT OF THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN MODULAR BUILDINGS FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT EXPANSION AT 401 SOUTH HARBOR BOULE-
VARD, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A LEASE AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH A
FINANCIAL INSTITUTION FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
CERTAIN MODULAR BUILDINGS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore leased
certain buildings from PBS Building Systems, Inc., on City-
owned property located at 401 South Harbor Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, said lease agreement has expired; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to enter into
a lease-purchase arrangement with a financial institution
for said modular buildings; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to authorize the City
Manager to enter into said lease purchase agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City Council does hereby
approve the concept of the lease purchase from PBS Building
Systems, Inc., and certain modular buildings.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City Manager is hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement with a financial institution for
the lease and purchase of the modular buildings located
at 401 South Harbor Boulevard in the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of
August, 1981.
