A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING, DECLARING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MODIFICATIONS TO CERTAIN MODUALR
BUILDINGS AT 401 SOUTH HARBOR BOULEVARD MAY BE
PERFORMED BETTER AND MORE ECONOMICALLY BY CITY
EMPLOYEES.
-WHEREAS, the-City of Anaheim has entered into a
Lease Purchase Agreement for certain modular buildings
located at 401 South Harbor Boulevard for use by the Police
Department of the City; and
WHEREAS, in order to utilize these buildings by
the Police Department, certain modifications to said buildings
will be required; and
WHEREAS, because of the need to modify these
buildings as rapidly as possible, it is necessary under the
Charter of the City of Anaheim, Section 1211, to declare
and determine that the work in question may be performed
better and more economically by City employees; and
WHEREAS, said modifications will not exceed the
sum of $50,000.00; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to make such findings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it does hereby
find, declare and determine that modifications to the modular
buildings at 401 South Harbor Boulevard, leased by the City
of Anaheim, in an amount less than $50,000.00, may be performed
better and more economically by the City of Anaheim employees.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of .Anaheim this lth__ day of
August, 1981.
