A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY-
OWNED PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DEED
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
(Stuart and Sarah E. Ledingham)
WHEREAS, th e City of Anaheim is the owner of certain
real property known as the S.A.V.I. Canal, 50 feet wide located
south of_ Rio Grande Drive and west of_ Fairmont; and
WHEREAS, said property is not needed for any present
or prospective use by the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said property has been
received from Stuart and Sarah F. Ledingham; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to sell said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sale of certain
real property known as the S.A.V.I. Canal to Stuart and Sarah E.
Ledingham is hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a
deed to said property on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 18th day of August, 1981.
