A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #2800-66)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of sand property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT S. DAVIS and HELENS O.
DAVIS to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, to be used for an easement for road and public util-
ity purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 8 in Tract No. 230,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 13, page 25 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, being
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Anaheim Blvd.
and Vermont Avenue; thence N. 15° 30' W. along said cen-
terline of Anaheim Blvd., 50.50 feet; thence N. 74° 30'
00" E., 47.00 feet to the beginning of a non tangent curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet;
thence Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a
central angle of 90° 00' 05", an arc distance of 23.56
feet; thence S. 15° 30' 05" E., 35.50 feet; thence S. 74°
29' 55" W., 62.00 feet to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 17-792-7101-
E2580, the sum of Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00).
