A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT
POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITIES OF ANAHEIM,
COSTA MESA, GARDEN GROVE, SANTA ANA, ORANGE AND
LA HABRA AND FURTHER APPROVING AN AMENDED AGREE-
MENT WITH THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MUNICIPAL
DEVELOPMENT, INC. FOR THE CONSORTIUM CITIES PRO-
GRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Garden
Grove, Santa Ana, Orange, and La Habra, have entered into a
Joint Powers Agreement to fund a consortium cities program;
an d
WHEREAS, said cities have entered into an agreement
with the National Center for a Municipal Development, Inc. to
provide and share the expense of a Washington representative
for said cities; and
WHEREAS, a revised Joint Powers Agreement and an
amended agreement for the National Center for Municipal
Development, Inc. have been submitted in order to fund the
budget for the use of the Washington representative for
said consortium cities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the revised Joint Powers Agreement
this day submitted be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions
of an amended agreement with the cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa,
Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Orange and La Habra for the period
January. 1, 1981 through Tune 30, 1981 pertaining to the employ-
ing of a Washington representative be and the same hereby is
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
