A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
THE ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL,
INC., RE FURNISHING MATCHING FUNDS TOWARD THE
PU RCHASE OF THE VEHICLES TO TRANSPORT ELDERLY
AND HANDICAPPED CITIZENS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to aid in the
transportation of primarily elderly and handicapped Seniors
to and from transportation, lunch and counseling (TLC) sites
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Development Council has an Agreement with
the State of California Department of Transportation for the
purchase of fourteen (14) vehicles, through the use of
matching funds to provide transportation services for primarily
elderly and handicapped; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared relating to
the purchase of said two (2) vehicles to provide said transpor-
tation, and the terms and conditions thereof are satisfactory
to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the O~ange County Community Development
Council, Inc., providing for the furnishing of Eleven Thousand,
Two Hundred and Twenty-Three Dollars ($11,223.Q0) matching
funds toward purchase of two (2) vehicles to transport elderly
and handicapped citizens to and from TLC sites in the City of
Anaheim be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
