A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #2800-49)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the off er of ROWE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situ-
ated ttn the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the easterly 2.00 feet of the westerly
47.00 feet (as measured at right angles to the center-
line of Anaheim Boulevard) of Lots 4 and 5 of the South
Street Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 8, page
89, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
For the purpose of this description, the westerly lines
of said Lots 4 and 5, are assumed to be the centerline
of Anaheim Boulevard,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 17-792-7101-E2580,
the sum of One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($1,300.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and dopted by the
