RESOLUTION NO. 81R- 62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM PERTAINING TO PROPERTY
^`° TAX ALLOCATION FOR LAKEVIEW-ORANGETHORPE
NO. 4 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, certain property was annexed to the
City of Anaheim pursuant to the provisions of Resolution
No. 79R-631, known as Lakeview-Orangethorpe No. 4
Annexation to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, as a part of the approval of said
annexation by the Local Agency Formation Commission, it
was determined that a detachment was required from the
Yorba Linda Library District; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has determined
that a-tax reallocation is required in conjunction with
the above-referenced detachments.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l: Pursuant to Section 99(b) of the
Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, the
City of Anaheim hereby requests that all property tax
revenues which would have accrued pursuant to Revenur~
and Taxation Code Section 97.5, to the Yorba .Linda .Library
District within the territory annexed to the City of Anahe~~,n
had it remained within said district, shall be reallocated
to the City of Anaheim, to commence in the first fiscal
year in which the annexation is effective for rax purposes
as provided in Government Code Section 54902 and continuing
each year thereafter.
SECTION 2: That this resolution be transmitted to
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange and the
Board be requested to adopt a resolution approving the
foregoing tax reallocation and to notify the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission and the Auditor-
Controller of the County of Orange of the Board's determination
in this regard.
