A RESOLUTION OF THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN APPLICATIQN
TO THE: URBAN MASS TRANSPORTATION
ADMINISTRATION (UMTA) FOR GRANT FUNDS TO
BE USED FOR A WESfi ANAHEIM TRANSIT
PROGRESSION SYSTEM; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CLTY MANAGER OR HITS; DESIGNATED
REPRESENTATIVE TO EXECUTE. AND FILE SAID
APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the. City Council of th.e City of Anaheim
desires to submit an_applcati.on to the Urban Mass:
Transportation Administration (UMTA) for grant funds
in an amount not to exceed $5QO,OC10 to be-used for a
West Anaheim Transit Progress-ion System; anal
WHEREAS, said funds would be used to interconnect
traffic signal systems to facilitate computer strategies
including communication interfaces aimed at providing
improved transit service..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of th.e City of Anaheim that the application to the Urban
Mass Transportation Administration (UMTA) for grant funds
for a West Anaheim Transit Progression System be, and tha
same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ci.y Manager, or
his designated representative be, and he is h2~:eby
authorized to execute and file said application a.nd all
other necessary documents- in connection there~~~ith.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
