A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
.~,..... BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE INTERNATIONAL
BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL UNION
N0. 47, UTILITY EMPLOYEES UNIT.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3040 of the City of Anaheim establishes the
employer-emplo}=ee relations system for the City; and
WHEREAS Section 1.06.100 of Ordinance No. 3040 requires Memorandums
of Understanding to be presented to the City Council or its statutory repre-
sentative for determination; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that the
adopting of a new Memorandum of Understanding executed on February 19, 1981
is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and
the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 47, Utility
Employees Unit executed by the City Management Representative and the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local, Union No. 47 officials on February 19,
1981 meets with the approval of this Council and accordingly is adopted with the
effective date of October 10, 1980.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if any provision of the Memorandum of
Understanding or this resolution is at any time, or in any way, held to be
unconstitutional by any court of proper jurisdiction, the remainder of the
Memorandum of Understanding and the remainder of this Resolution shall not be
affected thereby, and shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 24th day of February _ _, 1981.
