A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB
CLASSES REPRESENTED BY THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD
OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL UNION N0. 47, UTILITY
EMPLOYEES UNIT, AND SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION N0. 77R-688
AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources
officials and employee representatives
of Electrical Workers, Local Union No.
wages, and
Director met and conferred with
of the International Brotherhood
47, Utility Employees Unit, to discuss
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to supersede Resolu-
tion No. 77R-688 and amendments thereto, which established rates of compen-
sation for job classes represented by the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 47, Utility Employees Unit, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
establishing new rates of compensation for these classifications is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
Section 1.
That effective October 10, 1980 through October 8, 1981 inclusive,
the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of
Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in any of the
classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary
schedules in the Salary Schedule Master.

Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in any of

Section 5.
The letter "U" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees
upgraded to that job class shall be paid premium pay as provded in Personnel
Rule 6.41, Premium Pay. The letter "S" preceding a schedule number indicates
that employees in that job class shall be eligible for consideration for merit
pay increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17, Appropriate Salary Step. The
letter "J" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees working in that
job class may be paid a rate of 5% below the "A" step of the salary schedule for
that job class, as provided in Personnel Rule 4.42 Appropriate Salary Step.
Section 6.
The regular hourly rate of pay
