A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
`~' OF AN AGREEMENT WITH MILD RED YORBA MACARTHUR
SERRANO, AN INDIVIDUAL; AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Ms. Serrano has in her possession a
private collection of valuable library materials, also known
as the "Grant Jackson Collection;" and
WHEREAS, Ms. Serrano desires and wishes to sell
such collection through the Anaheim Public Library and share
the proceeds of such, 50~ for herself, or her descendants, and
50% for the Anaheim Public Library; and
WHEREAS, the City is willing to sell the private
collection and has the services and ability to conduct such a
sale; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are acceptable to .the City Council of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of
March, 1981.
