1981-179RESOLUTION NO. 81R-179 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY- ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL `~"` PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #2800-6) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of_ the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of LAWRENCE JAY HARVEY AND HELEN JOAN HARVEY to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of Vineyard Lot G-4, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and b30 of Deeds, Records o.f Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the centerline intersection of Anaheim Boulevard and Santa Ana Street; thence S 15° 30' 00" E along the centerline of said Anaheim Boulevard, 322.82 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing S 15° 30' 00" E, 78.00 feet; thence S 74° 25' 00" W, 47.00 feet; thence N 15° 30' 00" W, 78.00 feet; thence N 74° 25' 00" E, 47.00 feet to the true point of beginning, be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street -~° system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant and pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 17-792-7101-E2580, the sum of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($7,700.00). -1- THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of April, 1981.
