1981-479RESOLUTION NO. 81R -479 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING CERTAIN STORM DRAIN, RIDING, HIKING AND BIKING EASEMENTS NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTRY HILL ROAD AND OLD BRIDGE ROAD. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate cer- tain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, on the 13th day of October, 1981, a public hear- ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concern- ing said proposed vacation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation facilities. WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place public utility facilities in use for which easements are not re- served and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that no easements be reserved for such facilities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of those ease- ments for storm drain, equestrian riding, biking and hiking pur- poses, more specifically described in Exhibit A, consisting of four pages, and incorporated by reference herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange. Exunrr pc. 3 GF 81 -5A ABANDONMENT 81 -5A PARCEL THREE (3) That certain easement for storm drain and appurtenances situated in a portion of Parcel 2 of a map filed in Book 99, pages 33 through 37 of Parcel Maps, as described in a deed to the City of Anaheim, in the County of Orange, State of California, recorded in Book 12508, pages 1448 through 1455 of Official Records, said easement being 10.00 feet in width, 5.00 feet lying on each side of the following described. line: Beginning at the northerly terminus of a line shown as "North 21° 55' 00" West 300.00 feet" on the westerly boundary of said Parcel 2, said point being the beginning of a tangent curve, concave northeasterly and having a radius of 580.00 feet; thence northerly along said curve and through a central angle of 5° 38' 55" an arc length of 57.18 feet to the intersec- tion with a curve, the center of which bears North 60° 40' 00" East 203.00 feet and said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence southerly along last- mentioned curve and through a central angle of 7° 08' 27" an arc length of 25.30 feet; thence South 36° 28' 27" East, tangent to last mentioned curve 217.73 feet; thence South 31° 45' 51" East 270.00 feet and there terminating.
