1981-491RESOLUTION NO. 81R-491 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPEN- SATION FOR CONFIDENTIAL JOB CLASSES AND SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 80R -546 AND AMENDMENTS THERETO. WHEREAS, rates of compensation for represented Clerical job classes will be adjusted effective October 9, 1981, and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to adjust rate of compensation for related Confidential classes by superseding Resolution No. 80R -546 and amendments thereto, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that adjusting these rates of compensation is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: Section 1. That effective October 9, 1981 the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in any of the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedules in the Salary Schedule Master. That effective October 9, 1981 the City of Anaheim shall pay four percent (4.0 of the Employee Contribution to the Public Employees Retirement System for employees working in job classifications listed in Section 1 of this resolution. Section 3. The letter "U" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees upgraded to that job class shall be paid premium pay as provided in Personnel Rule 6.41, Premium Pay. The letter "S" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees in that job class shall be eligible for consideration for merit pay increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17, Appropriate Salary Step. The letter "J" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees working in that job class may be paid a rate of 5% below the "A" step of the salary schedule for that job class, as provided in Personnel Rule 4.42, Appropriate Salary Step. Section 4. The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for employees working in job classes listed in Section 1 of this Resolution shall be computed as provided in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and Pay Day, and Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay. Section 5. The provisions of this Resolution shall supersede Resolution No. 80R -546 and amendments thereto.
