A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND CONSENTING TO THE
DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
FROM THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANNEXATION
OF SAID TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF YORBA LINDA
DESIGNATED AS REORGANIZATION NO. 55.
WHEREAS, the City of Yorba Linda has heretofore adopted
a resolution of application pursuant to Section 35140 of the
Government Code of the State of California proposing a municipal
reorganization for the detachment of certain uninhabited territory
as hereinafter described from the City of Anaheim and the annexa-
tion of said property into the boundaries of the City of Orange;
and
WHEREAS, said municipal reorganization has heretofore
been designated as "Reorganization No. 55 Transfer from the City
of Anaheim to the City Yorba Linda; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires by this resolution
to evidence its consent to said Reorganization No. 55; and
WHEREAS, Section 99(b) of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of California provides that, prior to the effective
date of any jurisdictional change, the governing bodies of all
agencies whose service areas or service responsibilities would be
altered by such change shall determine the amount of property tax
revenues to be exchanged between and among such affected agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby approves and
consents to the resolution of application heretofore made by the
City of Yorba Linda to the Local Agency Formation Commission of
the County of Orange, designated as Reorganization No. 55, for
the detachment of the uninhabited territory described as Exhibit
A attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, from
the City of Anaheim and the annexation of said territory into the
boundaries of the City of Yorba Linda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim and the
City of Yorba Linda have heretofore agreed that, since said
Reorganization No. 55 involves only publicly -owned land, such
reorganization shall not require or result in the exchange of any
property tax revenues between such affected agencies pursuant to
the provisions of Section 99(b) of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27t da •f October, 19R1.

MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION No. 55
A TRANSFER OF A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STREET FROM CITY OF ANAHEIM TO CITY OF
YORBA LINDA.
All that certain land in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California within Lot 4, Block 34 of Yorba Linda Tract as shown on a map
recorded in Book 5, Pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing boundary of the City of Yorba Linda as
established by the incorporation of the City of Yorba Linda, approved by
Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 67 -1183, said point being the most
southerly corner of Lot 3 and the most easterly corner of Lot 5 of Block 34
of said Yorba Linda tract, said point also lying in the existing boundary
of the City of Anaheim as established by the "Orchard Drive Annexation,"
Ord. No. 2595, at the northeasterly terminus of that certain course designated
as "N. 39 30' 17" E. 207.62' and shown on the map of said annexation,
said point also lying on the centerline of a certain unnamed street of
varying width; thence south 39 59' 14" west, along the common city boundary
and centerline of said unnamed street, 8.01 feet to the northwesterly corner
of Lot 6 of Block 24 of said Yorba Linda Tract; thence leaving said common
city boundary, north 79 19' 37" east, along the northerly boundary of said
Lot 6 (the centerline of Anaheim Union Water Company R /W), 34.95 feet to a point
on the southeasterly right -of -way line of said unnamed street; thence along the
right -of -way line of said unnamed street, the following courses:
North 30 27' 30" East, 220.03 feet;
North 40 30' 19" East, 177.72 feet;
North 80 02' 43" East, 32.34 feet
to the southwesterly right -of -way line of Short Street, a street of varying
width; thence north 60 02' 02" west, along the northwesterly prolongation of
said southwesterly right -of -way line, 80.62 feet to a point on the aforementioned
common city boundary and centerline of said unnamed street; thence south 30 27'
30" west, along said common boundary and centerline, 430.39 feet to the point of
beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 0.328 acres.
