A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC HEAR-
ING ON THE PROPOSED THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
ALPHA, AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A DATE,
TIME AND PLACE THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING
PUBLICATION AND MAILING OF NOTICE OF JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency and the Anaheim
Community Redevelopment Commission by resolution have consented to a
joint public hearing on the proposed Third Amendment to the Redevelopment
Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha and requested that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim consent to such joint public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the consent of both the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
and the City Council of the City of Anaheim is required by the California
Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33458) in
order to conduct such joint public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City
of Anaheim is charged with performing the duties imposed by Section
33202 of the California Health and Safety Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby consents to
a joint public hearing on the proposed Third Amendment to the Redevelop-
ment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha and hereby authorizes the
Executive Director of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to establish a
date, time and place therefor.
2. The City Clerk shall, in cooperation with the Executive
Director of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency, publish and mail a notice
of joint public hearing on the proposed Third Amendment to the Redevelop-
ment Plan at the time, in the manner, and with the other documents as
required and established by law.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3r. d•y 'ovember, 1981.
