1981-512WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of five (5)
pumpers for its Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to enter into a
lease /purchase arrangement with FMC Corporation, Van Pelt
Operation, for said pumpers; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to authorize the Mayor and
City Clerk to enter into said lease /purchase agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Council does hereby approve
the lease /purchase of five Van Pelt 1500 Triple Combination
Pumpers from FMC Corporation, Van Pelt Operation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said lease /purchase agreement for and on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
