A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
LA PALMA LAKEVIEW NO. 5 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory with-
out notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to
the authority vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1
of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,
and is uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a
description of said territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That
said consent signed by all of the owners of land within the ter-
ritory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolu-
tion described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the ter-
ritory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said
annexation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section
54797.1 of the Government Code.
That on the 23rd day of September 1981
the Local Agency Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution
No.81 -82 in which said Commission authorized the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory in accordance with Section
54797.1 of the Government Code and further approved such
annexation of said territory without notice or hearing.

That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory without notice or hearing by
the City Council and without the requirement that an election
be held by the City on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the La Palma
Lakeview No. 5 Annexation to the City of Anaheim, more
particularly described as follows, to wit:

That certain parcel of land located in the unincor-
porated territory in the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning in the northeast corner of the Sylvania
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, said point of
beginning being a point in the southerly right of
way line of La Palma Avenue 106 feet wide distant N
89° 48' 10" E, 5,200 feet, more or less, from the
intersection of said southerly right of way line with
the centerline of Lakeview Avenue, said point of be-
ginning also being a point in the southerly annexation
boundary line of the Warner Lambert No. 2 Annexation
to the City of Anaheim; thence leaving said Sylvania
Annexation boundary line and following along the south-
erly annexation boundary line of said Warner Lambert
No. 2 Annexation and the southerly right of way line
of said La Palma Avenue N 89° 48' 10" E, 587.76 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave northerly
and having a radius of 2,053 feet; thence Northeast-
erly along said curve through a central angle of 08
11' 02" an arc distance of 293.24 feet to an intersec-
tion with the westerly annexation boundary line of
the East La Palma Annexation to the City of Anaheim,
a radial line bearing S 08° 22' 52" E passes through
said point of intersection; thence leaving the south-
erly annexation boundary line of said Warner Lambert
No. 2 Annexation also being the southerly right of way
line of said La Palma Avenue, and following along the
westerly annexation boundary line of said East La Palma
Annexation S 01° 21' 32" W, 536.94 feet; thence N 88°
57' 16" W, 25.00 feet; thence S 01° 02' 44" W, 311 feet
to the southwesterly corner of the last mentioned
annexation boundary line, said southwesterly corner
also being a point in the southerly line of the land
described in the deed recorded in Book 10409, page 438,
Official Records of Orange County, California; thence
leaving the last mentioned annexation boundary line
and following along the last mentioned southerly line
S 81° 42' 00" W, 433.77 feet to the southwesterly cor-
ner of the parcel described in the last mentioned deed,
said southwesterly corner also being the southeasterly
corner of the land described in the deed recorded in
Book 7792, page 153, Official Records of Orange County;
thence following along a portion of the boundary of the
land described in the last mentioned deed S 81° 55' 05"
W, 178.66 feet; thence N 81° 29' 00" W, 671.90 feet to
an intersection with the easterly line of the Warner
Lambert Annexation to the City of Anaheim; thence follow-
ing along a portion of the easterly annexation boundary
line of said Warner Lambert Annexation N 00° 50' 11" E,
50.45 feet to an intersection with the southerly annexa-
tion boundary line of the aforementioned Sylvania
Annexation to the City of Anaheim; thence leaving said
Warner Lambert Annexation boundary line and following
along a portion of the southerly line and the easterly
line of said Sylvania Annexation the following courses
and distances S 81° 27' 52" E, 441.80 feet; thence N
00° 11' 50" W, 825.66 feet to the point of beginning,
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to
and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is hereby designated as the La Pa)ma-
T.akpviPw Nn. 9 AnnPxatinx to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certi-
fied copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of
California, the annexation of the territory herein described
shall be deemed to be and shall he complete and thenceforth
such annexed territory shall he, to all intents and purposes,
a part of the City of Anaheim and, from and after the effec-
tive date of such annexation, all property therein shall he
subject to taxation equally with the property within the City
of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its proportionate share
of the existing indebtedness and liability of said City of
Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the time of such
annexation pursuant to the written consent of the owners of
property in said annexed territory filed with the Clerk of the
City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1001 day of
November 19 81.
