A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A HOUSE MOVING PERMIT TO
MOVE A SINGLE STORY WOOD FRAME RESTAURANT STRUC-
TURE FROM 751 NORTH PLACENTIA BOULEVARD TO
1040 NORTH MAGNOLIA AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, Jean's House of Donuts Cookies, Inc. did file
a written application for a house moving permit to move a commer-
cial structure from 751 North Placentia Avenue, Fullerton, California,
to 1040 North Magnolia Avenue, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, said application having been set for public hear-
ing on the 24th day of November, 1981, at the hour of 3:00 o'clock
p.m., and notice of the time and place fixed for said public hearing
having been given by mail to all persons residing within a radius of
three hundred (300) feet from the property upon which it is proposed
to move said house at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed
for said hearing, as the names of such owners appeared upon the last
available tax assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having come on regularly for hearing
upon said date and said hearing having been duly held and conducted
and all persons interested therein given an opportunity to be heard,
and the City Council having duly considered said application for a
house moving permit, together with all evidence and reports submit-
ted in connection therewith, does find that said permit should be
granted for the following reasons:
1. That the house, building or structure proposed to be moved
is comparable in value, size, quality, design and appearance of
houses, buildings or structures in the area into which it is to be
moved; and
2. That it will not be detrimental to, nor diminish the value
of, property in the area and
3. That less than a majority of the property owners in the
area object to the moving of the house, building or structure onto
the property where it is proposed to be moved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the application of Jean's House of Donuts
Cookies, Inc. for a house moving permit to move a commercial struc-
ture from 751 North Placentia Avenue, Fullerton, California, to 1040
North Magnolia Avenue, Anaheim, California, be, and the same is
hereby, granted subject to compliance with all of the provisions of
Title 15, Chapter 15.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 24th day of November, 1981.
