A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AINDMENT TO THE TEXT
OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 170, EXHIBIT "A
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommenda-
tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted a
General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of October, 1931, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hear-
ing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider amendment of the text of the Land Use
Element in the manner set forth in Exhibit "A" hereof; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC81 -218 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said
hearing, and a recommendation that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 170 be adopted by the City Council,
in accordance with Exhibit "A" as hereinabove described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recouiaiendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 8th day of
December, 1981, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
City Hall as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 170 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 170 amending the text of the Land Use Element of the
General Plan in the manner set forth in Exhibit "A" hereof should
be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 170 to the General Plan
amending the text of the Land Use Element of the General Plan in
accordance with Exhibit "A" hereof be, and the s=ame is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan to conform
to General Plan Amendment No. 170, as herein adopted and approved.

"This category is typically implemented by the R -3, multiple
family residential zone and standards governing mobilehome park
development."
PROPOSED
"This category is typically implemented by the RM -1200, multiple
family residential zone and standards governing mobilehome park
development. However in certain geoggraphis areas such as the
"downtown" area or under certain conditions with adequate infra-
structure and meeting certain specific conditions as identified
in the zoning ordinance, higher density residential land uses
may be ,ermitted, in such specific cases the medium density land
use designation could be implemented by one or more zones
permitting a higher density.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3th day of December,
1931.
