91-063 RESOLUTION NO. 91R-63
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING
CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS A COUNTY
HIGHWAY DURING BEACH BOULEVARD
CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, that portion of Beach Boulevard from
approximately 600 feet north of Lincoln Avenue to approximately
1000 feet south of Ball Road and lying within the city limits of
Anaheim is deemed to be a highway of county-wide importance; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to improve said
portion of Beach Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, by Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 91-46
dated January 15, 1991, the County has declared said portion of
Beach Boulevard to be a County Highway during the period of
improvement of said road by County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim concurs with said
improvement of Beach Boulevard by County and desires to consent
to the establishment of said portions of all city street
intersections within the construction zone as a County Highway
during the period of said improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that
pursuant to the provisions of Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9,
Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code the City of Anaheim
does concur with the Orange County Board of Supervisors
Resolution No. 91-46 dated January 15, 1991 and does designate
all City street intersections within the construction zone lying
within the city limits of Anaheim to be a County Highway during
the period of improvement by the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to transmit to the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Orange a certified copy of this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Anaheim this 19th day of March,
1991.
