91-050 RESOLUTION NO. 91R-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CLOSING AUDRE
DR. TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
WHEREAS, Audre Dr. between Hampstead St. and Jeffrey
Dr. is a lightly traveled street in a residential area; and
WHEREAS, other adjacent streets in the area of Audre
Dr. between Hampstead St. and Jeffrey Dr. are adequate to
accommodate vehicular traffic generated by surrounding
residential uses; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to permit the use of Audre Dr.
between Hampstead St. and Jeffrey Dr. to be used for other public
passage including pedestrian and non-motorized vehicles without
conflicts with motor vehicles; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that portion of Audre Dr. between Hampstead St. and
Jeffrey Dr. is no longer needed for vehicular traffic.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the city of Anaheim that that portion of Audre Dr. between
Hampstead St. and Jeffrey Dr. be closed to vehicular traffic.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Traffic Engineer
and Chief of Police be, and they are hereby, authorized and
directed to construct such barricades and post such signs as to
close that portion of Audre Dr. between Hampstead St. to Jeffrey
Dr. to vehicular traffic.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 26th day of February,
1991.
