A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 64 -65 -44 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 o t e na eim .:uni.cipa Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said he ring did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and tht a
certain zone or zones be changed rs hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of s:id resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 1st day
of December 19 64 =s the time, and the City Council
Ch, m ers i.n t e City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, nd the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorportion thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed foe' said public
he: =ring the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and th =t the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of An:'heim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, mended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
64 -65 -44
PARCEL ONE:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the South-
east quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the point on the Easterly line of said
Section 7, said point being South 0 16' 10" East
1,174.37 feet from the intersection of said Easterly
line with the center line of Crescent Avenue; thence
South 89 01' 42" West, 248.79 feet; thence
South 0 16' 23" East 67 feet; thence North 89 01' 42"
East 248.79 feet to said Easterly line; thence
Northerly along said Easterly line to the point of
beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 60 feet lying within
the right of way of Brookhurst Street.
PARCEL TWO:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the Southerly line of the land
described in deed to Marion Schlund Lindsey, recorded
April 4, 1956 in Book 3462, page 176 of Official Records,
distant South 89 01' 42" West 248.79 feet from the South-
east corner of said land, said Southeast corner being on
the Easterly line of said Section 7, distant South 0 16' 10"
East 1174.37 feet from the intersection of said Easterly
line with the center line of Crescent Avenue, as said
intersection is shown and referenced "fd R.R. Spike" on
the Map filed in Book 41, page 26 of Record of Surveys, in
the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, Cali-
fornia; thence South 0 16' 23" East 67.00 feet; thence
North 89 01' 42" East parallel with said Southerly line,
248.79 feet to said Easterly line; thence South 0 16' 10"
East 68.28 feet to the Northerly line of Tract No. 1569, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 47, page 17 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence South
89 03' 54" West, along said Northerly line, 330.11 feet
to the West line of the East half of the Southeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said
Section 7; thence North 0 16' 23" West, along said West
line 135.07 feet to the Southwest corner of said land of
Marion Schlund Lindsey; thence North 89 01' 42" East
81.33 feet to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 60 feet lying within
the right of way of Brookhurst Street.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, axd
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and subn7_t to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Arahei.rn
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
