A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE'CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Northwest quarter
of Section 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.
M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 26; thence South 01 16' 48"
East, along the East line of said Northwest quarter a
distance of 967.99 feet; thence North 88 41' 15"
West a distance of 23.00 feet; thence North 01 16' 48"
West parallel to the East line of said Northwest quarter
a distance of 967.99 feet to the North line of said
Section 26; thence North 89 59' 38 East along the
North line of said Section 26 to the point of begin-
ning.
Except the Northerly 210.00 feet of the Easterly 173.00
feet, measured along the North and East lines thereof.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EL FORTIN BANDITO, INC.,
a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of November 19 64
