91-020 RESOLUTION NO. 91R-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED AND
ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED FOR SIDEWALKS.
WHEREAS, an irrevocable offer of dedication of a
pedestrian easement was granted to the city of Anaheim in
connection with the approval of Tract No. 12995; and
WHEREAS, the sidewalk to be placed within the easement
has been constructed outside of the area of the easement; and
WHEREAS, the developer of Tract No. 12995 has requested
the city to quitclaim its interest in the easement area in
exchange for the developer's dedication of a new pedestrian
easement at the location of the sidewalk as constructed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are, hereby authorized and directed, to
execute a quitclaim deed to the pedestrian area at such time as
the developer has delivered to the City a fully-executed easement
deed for the new pedestrian easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City
Council does hereby authorize the city Engineer to accept, on
behalf of the City of Anaheim, the easement deed for the new
pedestrian easement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of February,
1991.
