A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING THREE GRANT DEEDS OF
PROPERTY INVOLVING THE CONVENTION CENTER,
UPON APPROVAL THEREOF BY THE CITY ATTORNEY.
WHEREAS, heretofore, by its Resolution No. 65R-100
the City Council did authorize the execution of a Settlement
Agreement and a Supplemental Settlement Agreement pursuant to
the terms of which the City is acquiring certain real property
upon which to erect a Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, said agreements contemplated that the owners
of fee title to said real property would furnish grant deeds
thereto in favor of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said grant deeds, three in number, have been
furnished to the City of Anaheim to be held until certain other
conditions of said settlement agreements have been met; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is best qualified to deter-
mine when said conditions have been met which would enable the
City to accept and record such deeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept, subject to the conditions
set forth in said settlement agreements, and it does hereby so
accept such deeds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby authorized and directed to indicate such accept-
ance; and that she be, and she is hereby authorized and directed
to record the same immediately following receipt of written in-
formation submitted to her by the City Attorney that all of the
conditions of said settlement agreements have been met as they
relate to the acceptance and recordation of said grant deeds.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the grant deeds to
which reference is made all cover real property situated in the
Northwest quarter of section 27, Township 4 South, Range ij West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana in Orange County,
California, and are executed by A. F. Schroeder, et ux.;Clarence
W. Mauerhan, et al., and Earl Zahl, et al.; respectively.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of February, 1965.
