91-004 RESOLUTION NO. 91R-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CERTAIN
LOBBYING CERTIFICATION AND
DISCLOSURE FORMS REQUIRED BY THE
FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION.
WHEREAS, Section 1352 of Title 31 of the United States
Code provides, among other things, that recipients of Federal
grants may not use such funds for influencing or attempting to
influence Federal employees or members of Congress in connection
with certain Federal actions; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Administration requires
that (1) all cities utilizing State of California Department of
Transportation funds shall provide, on an annual basis, certain
lobbying certification with respect to the use of such funds, and
(2) if non-federal funds are used for lobbying, cities are
required to sign a form disclosing such lobbying activities; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of
Transportation has submitted the required forms for execution by
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute all required lobbying certification and
disclosure forms annually on behalf of the city of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Anaheim this 8th day of
