1965-350WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVID W. HOOK and MARY
ANN HOOK, husband and wife; THEODORE G. ERICKSON and MARGARET A.
ERICKSON, husband and wife; ROBERT P. GILLMAN and ELEANOR L.
GILLMAN, husband and wife; and FRITZ P. GOOSSENS and ROSE M.
GOOSSENS, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement
for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 60.00 feet, as measured at
right angles from the center line of Brookhurst Street,
of the following described parcel of land:
The North 2.88 acres of the East half of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
NOTE: For the purpose of this description, the center line
of Brookhurst Street is assumed to be the East line of the
above described parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
