1965-304WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to construct the
Walnut Canyon Reservoir; and
WHEREAS, the Utilities Director of the City of Anaheim
was authorized by Resolution No. 65R -95 to file an application
with the State Water Rights Board to appropriate unappropriated
water in connection with said reservoir, and
WHEREAS, said application was filed; and
WHEREAS, it now appears after investigation that there
are no surplus waters to be appropriated; and
WHEREAS, it also appears that through design and con-
struction of said reservoir, appropriation of water will be
avoided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Utilities Director of the City of
Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized and directed to withdraw
the application to appropriate unappropriated waters which has
been filed with the State Water Rights Board.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of April, 1965.
