91-140 RESOLUTION NO. 91R - 140
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING RULES AND REGULATIONS
GOVERNING THE CLOSURE OF STREETS OR
PROHIBITION OF STREET ACCESS
WHEREAS, Section 21101 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California authorizes local authorities to adopt rules and
regulations concerning the closure of streets or highways or the
prohibition of entry to or exit from, or both, any street; and,
WHEREAS, Section 21101 of the Vehicle Code permits such
rules or regulations to be adopted by ordinance or resolution;
and,
WHEREAS, a document entitled "Street Closures and
Prohibited Street Access" is on file in the Office of the city
Clerk; and,
WHEREAS, the provisions of the document are acceptable
to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the document
entitled "Street Closures and Prohibited Street Access" be, and
it is hereby, adopted as the policy of the City of Anaheim and
shall constitute the rules and regulations mandated by Section
21101 of the Vehicle Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 88R-422,
and the rules and regulations adopted thereby, be and they are
hereby repealed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 14~day of May, 1991.
