1965-651A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
CALIFORNIA CHEMICAL COMPANY BY WHICH CALIFOR-
NIA CHEMICAL COMPANY GRANTS TO THE CITY A
RIGHT OF WAY AND EASEMENT FOR AN ELECTRICAL
TRANSMISSION LINE.
WHEREAS, California Chemical Company, a corporation,
has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement, dated June 30,
1965, granting to the City, subject to the terms, conditions and
provisions therein contained, and to termination as therein
provided, a right of way and easement to erect, maintain, operate,
renew and remove an electrical transmission line, consisting of
a single line of poles, and wires suspended thereon and supported
thereby, and all necessary and proper crossarms, and fixtures
for use in connection therewith, over and across that certain
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California described as follows:
The Southerly 10 feet of the westerly 495 feet of the North
half of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City to accept said right of
way and easement, and that said agreement should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement, dated June 30, 1965, this
day tendered to the City to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and California Chemical Company wherein California
Chemical Company grants to the City, subject to the terms, condi-
tions and provisions therein contained, and to termination as
therein provided, a right of way and easement to erect, maintain,
operate, renew and remove an electrical transmission line, con-
sisting of a single line of poles, and wires suspended thereon
and supported thereby, and all necessary and proper crossarms,
and fixtures for use in connection therewith, over and across
that certain real property hereinbefore described, be, and the
same is hereby approved, and said right of way and easement is
hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim, as of June 30,
1965.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of August, 1965.
