A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REVISING FEES FOR THE UNDERGROUND
STORAGE TANK PROGRAM AND ESTABLISHING THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore amended Section 16.08.100 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code to assume responsibility for implementing Chapter 6.7 of
Division 20 of the Health and Safety Code relating to underground
storage of hazardous materials; and
WHEREAS, Section 25287(a) of the Health and Safety Code
requires the governing body of a City which assumes enforcement
jurisdiction to establish fees at a level sufficient to pay the
necessary and reasonable costs incurred by the city in
administering Chapter 6.7, including, but not limited to,
permitting and inspection responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, the following fees to be charged are
reasonable and necessary and do not exceed the city's actual
costs in administering Chapter 6.7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby adopt the following fee
schedule for the underground storage tank program:
Annual Permit to Operate 274.00 per tank
Transfer of Ownership 60.00 per tank
Peri, it to Change Contents or Remove 60.00 per tank
Flammables
Temporary Closure of UST (not to 100.00 per tank
exceed 1 yr)
PLAN CHECK FEE:
Tank Installation 346.00 per 1-3 tanks
87.00 per additional
Tank Removal 234.00 for 1 tank
87.00 per additional
Abandonment in Place Permit 250.00 per tank
System Modification 259.00 (per 3 hours)
87.00 per hour add-on
SITE CLEAN-UP:
Hourly Rate for Site Clean-up Review 60.00 per hour
Installation of Monitoring Wells 30.00 per well
Requests for Information for Site 30.00 per 1-5 location
Assessment 5.00 per add-on
Investigation for Unauthorized Reimburse City for
Releases/Leaks actual cost
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that these
fees shall become effective April 1, 1991.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of May, 1991.
