91-128 RESOLUTION NO. 91R- 128 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF A VEHICLE FOR THE USE OF THE ANAHEIM POLICE EXPLORER POST. WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Explorer Post provides hundreds of hours of service each year to the Anaheim Police Department and to the citizens of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Explorer Post is in need of a vehicle for transporting Explorers to activities and events; and WHEREAS, Southland Life Fleet Ambulance Service has expressed its willingness to donate a vehicle for the Explorers' use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the City Council gratefully accepts the donation by Southland Life Fleet Ambulance Service of a refurbished 1981 Chevrolet ambulance, to be used by the Anaheim Police Explorer Post and to be maintained by the Anaheim Police Department. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of May, 1991.
