A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRIOAL
WORKERS, LOOAL NO. 4? AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, on April 16, 1991, the Labor Relations
Director met and conferred with officials of the International
Brotlherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47 on the subject
of a one time accrued vacation buy out for employees represented
by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local
No. 47.
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, a Letter of Agreement,
dated April 16, 1991, delineates an agreement reached on the
subject of a one time buy out of vacation time accrued but not
taken in increments of not less than one (1) hour to be paid in
cash.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find. that adoption of said Agreement is in the best interest of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Agreement dated April lB, 1991,
between the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
Local No. 47 and the City of Anaheim is hereby approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by

LETTER OF AGREEMENT
between the
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS
LOCAL NO. 47
and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No.
47, ("IBEW") and the City of Anaheim ("ANAHEIM") have reached
the following agreement on a one time Vacation Buy Out
provision:
1. Any employee working in classifications listed in
Appendix "A" of the Memoranda of Understanding
between the IBEW and ANAHEIM may participate.
Each participating employee may at his individual
choice elect to be compensated at his regular rate of
pay for vacation accrued but not taken.
3. A minimum of one (1) hour may be paid in cash.
4. For each hour of vacation time paid in cash one hour
will be deducted from the employees accrued vacation
balance.
