A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMEND-
MENT NO. 62.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to
the Circulation Element Highway Rights -of -Way on the General
Plan by including Pacifico Avenue (which presently extends
westerly from State College Boulevard a distance of approxima-
tely 618 feet), extending from State College Boulevard to Anaheim
Boulevard and located an equal distance between Katella and
Orangewood Avenues, in the Circulation Element Highway Rights
of -Way as a Secondary Highway, and at said hearing did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing thereon the Planning
Commission did fuly adopt a resolution containing a report of its
findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing,
and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan,
des ignated as Amendment No. 62, be adopted by the City Council;
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 23rd day of
November, 1965, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 62 to the General Plan and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 62 to the General Plan, amending the Circulation
Element Highway Rights -of -Way on said General Plan by includ-
ing Pacifico Avenue,extending from State College Boulevard to
Anaheim Boulevard, and located an equal distance between Katella
and Orangewood Avenues, in the Circulation Element Highway
Rights -of -Way as a Secondary Highway, should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 62 to the General Plan,
amending the Circulation Element Highway Rights -of -Way on said
General Plan by including Pacifico Avenue, extending from State
College Boulevard to Anaheim Boulevard and located an equal dis-
tance between Katella and Orangewood Avenues, in the Circulation
Element Highway Rights -of -Way as a Secondary Highway, be, and
the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby instructed, to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 62 herein approved.
