_ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 4, CHAPTER 4.18, SECTION 4.18.040
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
AMUSEMENT AND ENTERTAINMENT PREMISES --
RESTAURANTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.18, Section 4.18.040 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code -relating to amusement and entertainment
premises -- restaurants, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 4.18.040 GRANTING PERMIT.
After the making and filing of said application, the City
Clerk shall refer the matter to the Chief of Police for
investigation and report thereon. If satisfied as to the
good character of the applicant and that said entertain-
ment, as proposed, will not be detrimental to the public
welfare, the Council shall grant a permit.
The permit shall be granted for the specific occasion
requested, or if the request is for a continuouR permit,
said permit shall be issued for not longer than one year."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (1.5) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of February , 1974.
