AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEAL-
ING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04, SECTION 1.04.390
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND ENACTING
A NEW SECTION 1.04.390 RELATING TO OFFICERS
AND DEPARTMENTS.
FOLLOWS: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.390 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding thereto in its place a new
Section 1.04.390 reading as follows:
"Section 1.04.390 BONDS REQUIRED OF CITY OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES.
Before entering upon the duties of their respective
offices, the Finance Director and the City Treasurer
of the City of Anaheim shall execute bonds to the city
in amounts which may, from time to time, be set by the
city council.
The following employees shall be bonded for faithful
performance under a public employees' faithful per-
formance blanket bond in amounts which may, from time
to time, be set by the city council:
City Manager
City Attorney
City Clerk
Assistant City Manager
Acting City Manager
Director of Public Works
Chief of Police
City Engineer
Box Office Manager
Collection Officer
Accounting Officer
All of the employees not specifically set forth above
shall be bonded by a public employees' blanket bond in
amounts which may, from time to time, be set by the
city council."
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
