AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING AND DECLARING THE URGENCY
THEREOF. (RE MOHLER DRIVE ANNEXATION)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did annex into its cor-
porate limits certain County territory commonly described as
the Mohler Drive Annexation, and in so doing failed to designate
any zoning thereon; and
WHEREAS, said Mohler Drive Annexation was filed with
the Secretary of State on April 2, 1973, and recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder, Official Records of Orange County,
California, on April 5, 1973, as Document No. 4945; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said annexation, the territory
included therein is no longer subject to any zoning, either
Orange County Zoning or City of Anaheim Zoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to zoning be, and the same is hereby amended by including the
Mohler Drive Annexation therein by adopting a sectional zoning
map showing the following:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
All of that property lying within the boundaries of
Mohler Drive Annexation as filed with the Secretary
of State on April 2, 1973, and recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder, Official Records of Orange
County, California, on April 5, 1973, as Document No.
4945.
be, and it is hereby declared to be incorporated in the City of
Anaheim R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended to include the property hereinabove described in the
R -A, Agricultural Zone, and said City Zoning Map as amended is
hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to pre-
pare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map
showing the inclusion of the Mohler Drive Annexation therein as
being incorporated in said R -A, Agricultural Zone.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance is, pursuant to Government Code Section
65858, declared to be an urgency ordinance and shall take effect

immediately upon passage; that the reasons for declaring it to
be an urgency ordinance are as follows:
Immediately upon its annexation, the territory within
the said Mohler Drive Annexation lost its Orange
County Zoning, and because it was not zoned by the
City of Anaheim, it carries no zoning designation;
that unless such property is zoned immediately through
the adoption of this urgency ordinance, the City of
Anaheim will have no control over the orderly and
proper development of said territory to the detriment
of the health, safety and general welfare of the
citizens of the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
