AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AIMEND-
ING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 6.23, SECTION 6.23.011 h
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATI't3G TO
BEEKEEPING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
RECTION 1_
That Title 6, Chapter 6.23, Section 6.23.010 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 6.23.010 BEEKEEPING PROHIBITED.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to keep or suffer to be kept or maintained within the
corporate limits of the City of Anaheim any hive or
hives, swarm or swarms of honey bees, except in the 'R -A'
AGRICULTURAL ZONE or in the 'R -E' RESIDENTIAL ESTATE
ZONE, upon approval of a Conditional Use Permit by the
City Council.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anahein Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
