ORDINANCE 14O. 3737
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A1NAHEIM AMEND-
ING CHAPTER 17.08, TITLE 17, OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, BY ADDING SECTION 17.08.071
RELATING TO WAIVER OF PARCEL IMP REQUIREMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Title 17, Chapter 17.08 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding Section
17.08.071 to read as follows:
"The requirement that a parcel map shall be filed as
specified under Section 17.08.070 above may be waived
when the following conditions take place:
a. When the City Engineer determines that the pro-
posed division of land complies with the require-
ments that have been established under the Sub-
division Map Act and of this Chapter as to area,
improvement and design, flood water drainage
control, appropriate improved public roads, sani-
tary disposal facilities, water supply availability,
environmental protection, and other requirements of
the Subdivision Map Act and of this Chapter.
b. When the Planning Commission or City Council de-
termines that the proposed division of land meets
the above requirements.
When the requirement for a parcel map is waived by the
City Engineer and Planning Commission pursuant to the
terms of this Section, a tentative map shall be required
and shall be approved by both the City Engineer and Plan-
ning Commission."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this or-
dinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
