AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A14AHEIM ADDING
TO TITLE 41 CHAPTER 4.29 A NEW SECTION
4.29.045 RELATING TO HEALTH SERVICES FEES
FOR MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.29 is hereby amended by
adding Section 4.29.045 to read as follows:
114.29.045 ANNUAL HEALTH SERVICES FEES
The County Health Officer shall periodically,
but not less than three times per year, make
inspections of massage establishments located in the
City of Anaheim to determine if the proprietor or
operator of said establishment is complying with the
sanitation and health provisions of this chapter of
the Anaheim Municipal Code. The City shall, by resolu-
tion, adopt a Health Services Fee prescribing annual
fees to be paid by the proprietor or operator of
massage establishments, such fees to be paid directly
to the County Health Officer as reimbursement for said
services. Health Services Fee shall be in addition to
any application fee or business license."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (1.5) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of April , 1977.
