3638ORDINANCE 110. 3638 AIS! ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UTAHEIM A1-,1ENjD- I14G TITLE 14, CHAPTER 32, OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 14.32.205 TO RESTRICT HOURS OF PARKING OF COMMERCIAL TYPE VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS. WHEREAS, the parking, of large commercial vehicles in any residential district affects adversely the residential char- acter of such district; and WHEREAS, the parking of such vehicles on residential streets can cause serious hazards to traffic safety. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A3AHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 14.32.205 be added to the Anaheim Municipal Code to read as follows: "Section 14.32.205. LIMITATION ON THE PARKING OF LARGE C011MERCIAL VEHICLES I14 THE RESIDENTIAL ZONES OF THE CITY No person shall park and leave standing on any public street in any residence district, as defined in the California Vehicle Code, any of the following vehicles, except while mechanically disabled, or while loading or unloading property, or when such vehicle is parked in connection with, and in aid of, the performance of a service to or on a property in the block in which such vehicle is parked or left standing: .010 Any truck tractor as defined by the California Vehicle Code with or without attached trailer, .020 Any trailer not attached to a motor vehicle, except recreational vehicles as defined in the Health and Safety Code, .030 Anv commercial vehicle as defined by the California Vehicle Code having a manu- facturer's gross weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more. The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized to post and maintain appropriate signs designating said parking restrictions." -1- SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir- culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
